A Peter Hess® Sound Massage uses singing bowls and their sound vibrations to give the feeling of a massage. During the massage, the bowls are placed on the body and softly tapped, setting them into vibration. Feelings of relaxation and ease come from the pleasant over-tone rich sound vibrations. These sound vibrations are spread throughout the body. The body is exceptionally good at conveying sound since it’s about 70-80% composed of liquids. The physical vibrations of the bowls spread gradually throughout the whole body: over the skin, through the tissues, body cavities, organs and bones.
